didn't look too promising in the bay, txts from USurf suggested it was cr*p at Cooden but took a flyer on the 'secret spot' just down the road from VFW Mark's gaff .... looked windy on the water, and cross shore with slight hint of off-shore .... new toys and a sniff of an after work session were enough to see me rig the 7.4m Remedy and plug into newly aquired Tabou Rocket 135 Ltd Edition.
First 10m were a little sheltered, but was quickly up and planing and enjoyed just over an hour blasting fully powered up on the 7.4m before the light dimmed to a level where packing up seemed sensible.
Quality session for an afterworker with sketchy forecast, and the Rocket really impressed, certainly for a first outing. I think I'll be singing the praises of this board over coming months .....
Managed to catch the end of the rugby .... looked like a performance the english rugger fans will be keen to forget .... Springboks looked strong .... condenders for title, or are the all blacks still big favourites?
